Composition Projects

Original Compositions written, recorded and mixed by Isabella Grace

From the day I began to play the Keyboard to this current day I have always loved to write my own music. My parents remember hearing me humming along to the music around the house before I could speak my first word.

In the past five years I have been recording my compositions and have been showcasing them on Youtube. This exposure has led to the opportunity to work on music for clients in the Podcast industry and for the "Lift-Off Global Network Session Film Festival" in 2020.

Composition For Screen

Below are projects that I have worked on during 2021 and 2022. These projects use an example visual which I then created and placed music on top of. These experiments were intended as a practice and examples of exploration of mood, tone and atmosphere. The visuals include "Blue Planet", "Chernobyl" and "Dune" as reference visuals.

Batik Man - Supervising Sound Engineer

Batik Man is a short film by Carl Reason.

Myself and a team of 6 created sounds and edited and mixed audio to 5:1 sound. I was the supervising engineer ensuring quality and sample sounds were fitted for the visuals whilst also helping place and edit sounds aswell.

Compositions 2023

2023 started with writing a piano piece for a couple to walk down the aisle to. Current projects I will be working on in the next months will be Intro tracks for local bands, and helping record and produce a song for a client.

Compositions 2022 -2021

2021 to 2022 was my second and third year of university. In this year I have created a diverse range of music exploring the genre of LowFi, Film and Media and also audio techniques using limited instruments.

The pages run in order of most recent to oldest projects.

Compositions 2020 - 2019

2019 to 2020 was my last year of college and first year of university. In this year I was learning about music creation and how to create quality pieces of work.

The pieces are experiments exploring different themes of work, including music for sleep and piano improvisations. I explore a range of genres trying to find which one I enjoyed working with the most.

Compositions 2018 -  2019

2018 - 2019 I was in college debating on what I wanted to do next, in this year I spent time working on personal projects in college and was also approached to work on a short film which later ended up in the "Lift Off Festival 2020".

I decided I wanted to pursue music after creating music for a podcast. She enjoyed it so much they invited me to create another one for their newest podcast
